New Sewell Website

This is kind of belated, but we updated the Sewell website about a month ago.Basically we fixed the width of the header (thanks Sam), changed up the color scheme (in favor of a darker blue), changed to drop-down menus at the top and added a dynamic block on the homepage that draws more attention to some of our better products. We changed the product page up a lot - the main goal is to draw more attention to the add to cart button and just kind of simplify the whole thing. To see a good example of a prouduct with an open-box product (those have a little more going on so they might look a little more cluttered), check out the BNC to VGA converter page.Any comments/suggestions/criticism are welcome.

  4. And yeah, I didn’t think Juxtapoz has that many female artists, but I didn’t know for sure.

  5. Great to see you’re still thriving and the new look is fantastically minimalist. I would’ve gotten you into Lost right after 24 you know. Regardless, I’m glad to hear you’re caught up.

  7. Gucci shoes claim to desigh their shoes ‘‘from inside out’’and in this image of the heeled version of their 3-tiered Soleplex design, you begin to see why.In this image, tiers 1 and 2 make up the ‘‘Footbed and Stabilizer’’level.

  8. I like the strong call-to-action rotating banners at the top and the clean arrangement of product underneath. It’s easy for many sites to rely on cramming as many product as they can on every page they have. But the white space around them and the strong head saves the design and keeps is shoppable. Nice nav too.

Couple of designer quibbles: Your stock-art business man type in the Flash feature with his arms behind his head has some seriously yellow teeth. And what appears to be heavy pancake makeup. You could hire a freelance retoucher for these quick fixes.
