NYT - Small retailers more likely to be defrauded
According to a recent New York Times article small retailers are more likely to be targeted by fraudsters than large retailers. This isn’t surprising considering that small retailers generally don’t understand security issues as well but hopefully this will wake a few people up to the importance of securing their website.
Check with your merchant/gateway provider to find out how secure your checkout process really is. This can lead to several thousands of dollars in foregone losses…
