Sprint wins

…the contest for the lamest cell phone of all time.

(Disclaimer: I use sprint and I like them, but I also hardly ever use my phone for calls, mostly just email. My only theory is that Sprint wants to make their users happy with whatever phone they currently have when they see this thing.)

  1. What don’t you like about it?

That’s an HTC phone, btw. While it is obvious that Windows Mobile sucks to anyone who uses it for a few minutes, HTC has been doing A LOT to make it more usable. They realized that Windows isn’t going to sell their phones, so they’ve come up with all sorts of whiz bang usability features to try to attract customers.

I have the interface shown in the picture running on my 8525, and its not bad. Its not really that good either, but it’s a step in the right direction.

I think all phones suck right now. Another year and there might be something worth buying…

  2. The design just looks ugly and cheesy to me - I think I would have thought it looked cool five years ago or so.

The screen looks all pixelated, too - I’m just surprised that they would name this thing the “touch” and invite the comparison to a cool apple product that makes this thing look atrocious (in Lewis lingo).
